Tania Sánchez

I was born in Madrid in 1979. I got a degree in Social Education and, when I finished my studies I worked in the field of rehabilitation of drug addicts. I got a degree in Social and Cultural Anthropology in UNED. In 2007 I was elected councillor for the city of Rivas Vaciamadrid, where I held the Department of Culture, Festivals and Development Cooperation. In 2011 I was elected deputy in the Madrid Assembly, a position that I gave up in 2015 to promote popular unit processes from the platform Convocatoria por Madrid. I am currently a candidate for the Congress of Deputies by Podemos.
